ABOUT THE AMERICAN CHEMICAL SOCIETY CHEMCLUB
ACS ChemClub is the new high school division of the American Chemistry Society (ACS), an organization consisting of more than 160,000 members worldwide.
As a member of ASC ChemClub at CB South, you will be part of a huge network of people who work in many different careers – all related to chemistry. You will have the opportunity to explore topics, projects, and experiments that go beyond the Chemistry courses, and there's also an opportunity to participate in contests. You may even participate in community service projects through the ACS ChemClub.
The ACS ChemClub will meet once or twice a month depending on the activities. Check out the Activities page for the planned hands-on activities. You can even suggest activities to add to the itinerary.
I'm very excited about this club! Whether you are planning a career in Science or just want to relax and have fun, the ChemClub has a place for you. Come visit me in Room 322 for more information. See you soon!
